I love Yoga, but honestly this looks scary Tara, friendly comment : all I see is bones and hair… Its ok if you are skinny but use more clothes and do a pony tail. Again friendly comment. This is not relaxing… sorry but It really looks bad

@kemeticspirit hi. do what you feel you can do. 4 or 5 times a week to start would be great since this routine is so short. when you get comfortable with the movements and breathing you can build in longer sequences. prob more enjoyable to ease into it than start off with a long routine. have a great weekend and thanks for getting in touch!
This is great. I just found this site through Huffington Post, my question though is how long if you are a beginner should I do this phase. Its great only 7 minutes, should it be done four five times a week. At 48 I am so stiff it was a challenge just to do the floor positions (smile) but I love it!!!

depends on what kind of yoga you are doing. plenty of types of yoga where you sit and talk and maybe twist from side to side. athletic styles like we do at strala are a fantastic workout. lots of people quit the gym for our classes. yoga can be your only workout if you like. it’s mine.

No offence but of all the forms of exercise I would have thought yoga would be one of the lowest calorie burning activities.
