I did a workshop with Kimo years ago in Charlottesville, VA. She is an incredible teacher. I have never seen someone so tiny who was as strong and flexible as she is.

While females are generally more flexible than males, they often lack the strength to do the more powerful asanas. So they “modify” their styles to emphasise the stretching over the power. Kino has modified NOTHING in her yoga! And what’s more, has slowed down and intensified a lot of the more powerful moves.
